I have painted numerous murals for cruise ships and hotels with my team of talented artists, running on tight deadlines and even tighter budgets.
I create paintings that are printed onto aluminium , vinyl , or as a sticker that can be printed up and glued into place. I frequently paint my murals in my London studio on canvas and then I install them on site in a day. I also does all forms specialist decoration, wood graining, marble and gilding.
I have always been inspired by my Italian heritage.
I trained in Florence and Rome with local artists, learning the ropes on the job.
After a site visit and talking about the project with the client, i create a series of ideas and sketches, that suit the budget and preferences discussed. Sometimes it will be a totally decorated room with, a jungle or pirate theme for example, other times a simple colour scheme and pretty motif.
I then present the client with the ideas and develop with more sketches until the client is happy with the intended designs and samples and with a 50% deposit, we fix the dates and proceed with the commission. Should the client wish to terminate the commission at any time they would pay only for the work done so far.
Commercial Projects
I work closely with interior designers , art consultants and architects creating decoration and artwork for hotels, restaurants, offices and private residences. We will do a turn key service, preparing the interior or exterior space, to then gild, paint and do all specialist decoration on site, with my team of professional decorators and artists. I produce canvas murals in the studio, which can be installed at a time that suits the clients. This helps a great deal with timing, when there are many contractors working on site at the same time.
Swimming Pools Commissions
I take on the technical and creative side of painting in an indoor pool environment leasing closely with the architect or engineer to ensure the artwork will be well protected from humidity. This is also real opportunity for the creation of a magical and dynamic space, that is otherwise empty and bland.
From Egyptian decoration to Caribbean heaven, anything is possible.
Commercial Projects
My team and I go out to Germany, France or Finland to paint on board new build cruise ships for Royal Caribbean International and Norwegian Cruise Lines.
We work in a fully functioning shipyards, in all weathers, painting huge murals all over the pool deck areas. We also do specialist decoration in interior spaces; lounges, bar areas & ceilings. Back in London we prepare paintings on canvas that are installed or printed up to grand sizes, for the public areas of the ships.
